•  We believe that women's rights are an inalienable, indivisible and integral part of universal human rights. We listen to the voices of women particularly young women and respect their diverse experiences. 

• We believe that change happens through collective action.  We respect and create allegiances with global Women’s Movements that have worked hard for gains for women. We work in solidarity and through multiple partnerships to eradicate  discriminatory practices and patriarchal systems and push for transformation towards equality.

• We believe in non-discrimination, and diversity in all areas of EmpowerGirlsNOW's Projects. We believe in unleashing a full range of women’s creativity and promoting women's assertiveness and confidence particularly with young women  who are affected by Harmful Traditional Practices such as FGM, and Child Marriage

• We educate feminist principles and promote feminist leadership. We believe in investing in young women’s leadership, and creating mentorship programs.

• We believe in creating and sustaining spaces where women can thrive and achieve their full potential, and where their voices can be amplified.

• As fundraisers and grant makers we believe in prudent, ethical and responsible stewardship of all funds and resources in our care.
